We are partnering with a traditional sports club that has more than ninety years of history in Kolín, has long focused on working with youth, and has raised a number of excellent athletes and hockey players.
We are proud to be able to support the SC Kolín club with such a strong and long-standing tradition, which coincidentally also bore the name TATRA Kolín in the past. It is this historical connection, as well as the agreement in human and moral values, that is very important to us. SC Kolín has long proven that it can work honestly and systematically not only with the A-team, but especially with the youth. Supporting young talents and developing the region are among the areas that have been close to our hearts for a long time.
From the 2026/2027 season, the club will bear the new name SC RETIA Kolín . The change will also be reflected in the name of the home arena, which will be renamed Zimní stadion RETIA Kolín . The partnership also includes cooperation on projects focused on children and youth. We will participate in activities such as the Kozlík Kindergarten Olympics , the We Teach Children to Skate project , or youth hockey tournaments and matches .
The Kolín hockey club has produced a number of players over its history who have made their mark in the highest domestic competitions and in the national team. The youth teams currently operate in the student league, the highest domestic hockey competition. After years of operating in the 2nd league, the men’s team has successfully established itself in the professional Maxa league, the second highest hockey competition in the Czech Republic, since the 2020/2021 season, where it is currently at the top of the table.
We believe that this partnership will contribute not only to the further development of Kolín hockey, but also to the spread of the good name of our company not only in the Central Bohemian Region, but throughout the Czech Republic.
